Services
Q. I’ve tried therapy before and struggled to make it work, why will your life coaching services be any different?
A. It’s important to clarify that life coaching is not therapy. While there may be some similarities, the focus of the work is very different. Therapy focuses on a clients mental health while attempting to resolve past traumas. Life coaching focuses on goal setting and helping clients achieve their personal and professional goals by identifying and helping to resolve obstacles and problematic behaviors that are slowing them down. Like therapy, however, a life coaching client will only get out of it what they put in so it’s important that the client be honest and open with themselves as well as their coach and be committed to making the required change.
Q. What makes your personal training services different from the big box gyms?
A. All qualified personal trainers must hold NCCA accredited certifications. While many of the personal trainers at the big box gyms do hold those certifications, as do we, it’s not a guarantee, which means you may not be receiving evidence-based training that delivers results. When you train with us, not only are you being trained by certified trainers, your training services truly are personal.
You will train 1:1 with our NASM-CPT in a safe, quiet and stress free environment throughout the duration of your fitness journey. This is important since a client/trainer relationship built on trust and knowledge of the individual is extremely important. If you’ve ever been intimidated by the traditional gym environment, felt judged by their sometimes hectic surroundings, or had to waste time waiting in line for a specific piece of equipment, that’s something you simply won’t experience with us.
You will also receive free nutrition coaching with your personal training package as well as text, email or phone/video check-in’s when not training if so desired. We also recognize that travel may be a barrier to some, or you may just feel more comfortable working out at home, which is why we also offer in home training!
Q. Do you provide in person or remote services?
A. We provide both virtual services as well as in person services.
Q. Are your coaches qualified?
A. Our qualified coaches are all professionally certified through various relevant certifying agencies including NASM/AFAA, NCCA, ASTI and the State of New Hampshire.
Q. Do you work with groups?
A. Yes! Our services are geared towards individuals in a 1:1 type setting as well as small and medium sized groups.
Q. Can I book my sessions one at a time or do I need to book a series of sessions?
A. Our services are flexible. That said, to benefit from our various coaching programs the client must be willing to commit to making change and working towards their desired goal(s) and this takes time. To get the most out of our services clients should expect to commit to multiple sessions. We offer session bundles as well as monthly packages at discounted rates.
Q. How do I book my service?
A. The best way to start is with a free consultation. Once we’ve discussed your specific scenario and have decided to move forward with services we can book your next session. Payment is required in full at least 48 hours prior to each session.
